MIK Okna d. o. o. and LX Navigation d. o. o., its consortium partner, have been awarded funding from the Incentives for Research and Development Projects 2 public tender, which is co-funded by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. The companies received funding for an innovative R&D project, which falls within the ‘Strategic Research and Innovation Partnerships’ priority domain in the field of Smart Buildings and Homes, including Wood Chain, entitled:
Smart energy efficient local ventilation system with heat recovery – Smart MIKrovent or short “Smart MIKrovent 40”.
These are the three main strategic goals of the Smart MIKrovent 40 R&D project:
- To increase air flow rates with a more efficient heat recovery system,
- To set up an online platform with automatic user customization,
- To set up an online platform with automatic maintenance diagnostics.
The project will run for two years, i.e. until the end of September 2020. The estimated total project value is EUR 1,347,032.90, of which EUR 499,926.29 will be covered by the grant.
The operation is co-funded by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund. The project applicant is MIK Okna d. o. o.
